Partnership Between the International Congress SHIELD and the International Union of Journalists and Writers to Defend Human Dignity

The International Congress SHIELD Organization and the International Union of Journalists and Writers announced a close partnership aimed at strengthening the role of media in protecting human rights and defending human dignity in the face of grave violations witnessed around the world.

This cooperation seeks to unify the efforts of both institutions in exposing inhumane practices faced by people in different regions, resisting policies of silencing voices and violations of freedom of expression, while also providing support to journalists and writers who face restrictions or persecution because of their opinions.

Both parties emphasized that the media is not merely a tool for conveying news, but a moral force capable of revealing the truth and holding violators accountable. Hence, the agreement was established to work jointly on launching media and human rights initiatives, as well as organizing international conferences and forums that highlight humanitarian issues and advocate for victims and the oppressed.
