Saleh Daher The Philosophy of Hegemony and Declared Hostility – The Grand Theater
Dr. Saleh Muhamed Daher – President of the Shield International Organization
Human history is filled with conflicts presented as ideological battles or civilizational clashes, but in reality, they are nothing more than manifestations of a hidden struggle for interests orchestrated behind the scenes. In today’s world, the United States and Russia serve as the most prominent example of this theatrical duality, where the conflict is portrayed as a battle between good and evil. However, when the masks fall, it becomes evident that the true objective is simply the imposition of dominance over resources and the reshaping of human values to serve the interests of the ruling elite.
Hegemony: A Long History of Manipulating Nations
This type of struggle is not a product of the modern era but rather an extension of a long history of systematic hegemony. In the past, Hitler used racial purity slogans to justify wars and expansion, while Stalin raised the banner of social equality to enforce his rigid centralized system. Both relied on fear and propaganda to impose their authority, transforming human beings into mere tools to serve their interests. Today, the same patterns repeat with new faces, as major powers use global crises as tools to redraw the map of global influence.
The struggle between major powers is not just a random confrontation but rather a carefully planned distribution of roles to achieve shared hegemonic goals. The United States presents itself as the bearer of democracy, while Russia appears as the defender of traditional values and an opponent of Western domination. However, at its core, this declared hostility is nothing but a façade concealing shared interests among the ruling elites in both nations.
Recycling Conflicts: New Tools with Old Faces
Global events reveal how crises are manufactured and managed in ways similar to what occurred in the 20th century when major powers divided spheres of influence through wars and treaties. Today, the same tactics are employed but with more advanced tools, such as market manipulation, engineered political crises, regional conflict sponsorship, and media control. All these methods are used to keep the world in a state of constant turmoil, allowing major powers to maintain their dominance.
In this context, narratives of hostility are recycled to justify military, political, and economic interventions. These narratives are skillfully employed to direct public opinion and distract people from the true objectives of these conflicts. Just as Hitler and Stalin used propaganda to control the masses and convince them of the necessity of war and sacrifice, today’s powers utilize media and modern technology to achieve the same goals but with more sophisticated and deceptive methods.
From Human Dignity to a Tool of Hegemony
In this global system, humans are no longer seen as an end in themselves but as mere tools exploited to serve higher interests. Just as totalitarian regimes reduced individuals to numbers in their equations of power, today’s world turns people into fuel for wars engineered to sustain the global hegemony system. Millions are killed, economic sanctions are imposed, and crises are manufactured while political and financial elites remain unaffected—indeed, they often benefit from the suffering of the masses.
History does not repeat itself randomly but is meticulously managed to serve the interests of certain forces. Just as Hitler and Stalin exploited conflicts to solidify their power, today’s major powers continue to use the same tools to keep the world in a perpetual state of division and subjugation.
Humanity’s Choice: Remain in the Game or Break Free?
What is presented to humanity today as an inevitable conflict is, in reality, a meticulously crafted theater, where the great powers play their roles skillfully while nations remain trapped in this grand game. Humanity faces two choices: either to remain within this closed cycle controlled from behind the scenes or to seek a deeper understanding of the global system and work towards breaking its chains.
The liberation of humanity begins with awareness, and freedom is not granted but seized by a strong will that rejects enslavement and aspires to create a more just and humane world.
