Google, Facebook/Meta, YouTube, Amazon, and Microsoft all face mounting accusations of direct or indirect complicity in the genocide against the Palestinian people.

Google: From Search Engine to Partner in Repression

Through Project Nimbus ($1.2 billion with Israel), Google and Amazon have provided the Israeli government with advanced cloud services that can be used for surveillance and military operations.
In 2025, Google signed a $45 million deal with Netanyahu’s office to promote official propaganda through YouTube and Google Ads—an effort to whitewash Israel’s image and deny atrocities in Gaza.
Meanwhile, repeated testimonies show the deletion of Palestinian content and suspension of journalists’ and activists’ accounts, strengthening accusations of censorship and bias.

Facebook/Meta: Algorithms Against Palestinians

It has been used as a key propaganda tool in the contract with Netanyahu’s office, where millions of dollars were poured into ads portraying the war on Gaza as “self-defense.” Meanwhile, Palestinian journalists struggle to keep videos documenting massacres online without deletion or restriction.

Through its role in Project Nimbus, Amazon provides Israel with powerful cloud technologies. U.S. and international human rights groups have held Amazon accountable for complicity in genocide, arguing that its technologies grant Israel unprecedented capabilities in control and surveillance.
