Amid the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing genocide and war crimes committed against the Palestinian people, the Union of International Organizations (UIO) has issued an urgent statement calling on the international community and all forces of conscience worldwide to take immediate action to stop the bloodshed and end the relentless assault on defenseless civilians.

The statement stressed that what is happening in Gaza is no longer a mere military conflict but a systematic crime targeting the very existence of the Palestinian people, taking place under suspicious international silence and the complicity of powerful actors who provide political and military cover for the perpetrators. The Union warned that the continuation of this situation poses a grave threat not only to the future of the Palestinian people but also to global peace and security.

The UIO demanded the formation of independent international investigation committees to hold accountable all criminals, collaborators, and accomplices involved in these atrocities, and to bring them before international justice without exception. It emphasized that impunity has emboldened the occupation to continue killing children and women and to destroy hospitals, schools, and vital infrastructure across Gaza.

The statement further stressed that international silence in the face of these massacres amounts to complicity in the crime, urging peoples, humanitarian organizations, human rights bodies, and media outlets to launch the broadest possible global movement—political, legal, and grassroots—to put an end to this conspiracy aimed at the Palestinian people and their just cause.

The Union concluded its statement by affirming that solidarity with Gaza today is not merely a humanitarian position but a moral and legal duty to protect humanity from sliding into the abyss of chaos and injustice.

It is noteworthy that the Union of International Organizations brings together more than one hundred member organizations from across the globe, giving it substantial weight and broad representation that reflects the growing international consensus rejecting the crimes of the occupation in Gaza.
