The International Congress SHIELD, officially known as the International Congress for Protecting the Rights and Freedom of Citizens – SHIELD, is an independent international organization that has been working since 2011 to promote human rights, spread the values of peace and justice, and support sustainable development around the world.

The organization was founded by Dr. Saleh Mohamed Daher in Odessa, Ukraine, where he currently serves as President. Its current headquarters are located in Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the European Union. Over the years, the organization has expanded its activities to include a wide network of offices and commissions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

The International Congress SHIELD strives to promote equality, empower youth and women, support education and culture, and combat violence and extremism. The organization relies on a multidisciplinary team of experts, lawyers, and activists, along with a wide global network of volunteers, to work towards protecting human rights and establishing the values of justice and equality.

The International Congress SHIELD aims to promote a culture of peace and tolerance, defend human rights, and work towards a world where all people enjoy dignity and freedom—regardless of race, religion, or gender.

Its vision is to build a unified international community that contributes to ending all forms of violence and discrimination and achieves equality and justice for all.

Objectives of the International Congress SHIELD

  1. Protection of Human Rights – Monitoring violations and defending fundamental freedoms for all, regardless of race, gender, or religion, while emphasizing the importance of human dignity.

  2. Support for Education and Awareness – Organizing workshops, training programs, and conferences to raise awareness about human rights and promote global understanding.

  3. Empowerment of Women and Youth – Promoting gender equality and providing opportunities for youth engagement and leadership in development.
